Phoebe’s growing up so fast! Not only has she moved up to an older preschool class, we enrolled her in her first ballet class! Naturally, we went and bought her a little outfit for the class and I felt the need to take some shots of her after she tried it on at home.
I was in a hurry to make this photo session work (kids can lose interest quick). So I decided not to grab a light stand. Instead I left the SB-900 flash on my camera (which I NEVER EVER do) and point the head at the wall. I also used TTL (again, something I never do). That was it! I would move around the room and rotate the SB-900 head as necessary.
I couldn’t have been more pleased with the results:
