I’ve owned the Triflash for few months and only recently have I been able to fill this monster with three flashes. Up until last week I only owned two strobes. So I put two LP120‘s and an SB-900 on it and went searching for a victim…in this case, my cat Pepi. This was shot at 5pm, in the shade, iso 100, 1/250, f/9 at about 6 feet away. Yep, 5pm, at f/9. Crazy, right?!

To continue my theme from yesterday, here’s another older shot that I enjoy. It was taken a year ago just after I bought my D200. It’s lit with a Vivitar 285HV at camera right.
I’ve got a couple of projects that I’m ALMOST ready to post about, but not quite. One of them being a baby shower I mentioned last week.
I was digging through my archives last night when I came across this image. It cracks me up, but I also liked the lighting.
I enjoy periodically flipping through my collection of photos. There are pictures I’ve forgotten about, and others I used to think were amazing that now seem flawed. And then there are others that are excellent, but for whatever reason I didn’t give them the attention they deserved. It’s also helpful to see how much I’ve improved. I think more photographers should do this.
