In July I did the World Wide Photo Walk in Pasadena, CA with my Dad. You can see my pictures here: Pasadena Photo Walk. Frankly, I wasn’t pleased with the shots I got, or with how the walk was led…or not led as was the case in our walk. The day started too late (an hour after the golden hour), the leader didn’t lead, and the meeting place was closed. Don’t get me wrong, I had a good time, met some new people and learned some new things. I guess I just had higher hopes for the day.
So a couple of friends and I decided to do the Photo Walk again. But this time we would do it earlier when the light was not so terrifying. Oddly enough, my negative feelings of the original photo walk had an appropriate karmic response. The day of our photo walk, take two, was super cloudy. The entire time. Oh well. I still had a lot of fun! I’m not done editing the images, but below is an HDR attempt that I’m pleased with. It’s Pasadena’s City Hall.
